How do I submit my work to the site?
There are several ways that you can share the results of your hard work and help others.
- Send an email to the county coordinator, Kris. If you have plain text documents, you can include them with your original message. If your submission is in a different format, such as a .jpg, .tif, .doc, .odt, or .pdf file, please make arrangements before sending it as an attachment.
- You can use the record submission forms.
How can I obtain a copy of an obituary?
The State Historical Society of Missouri has newspapers from Pettis County on microfilm which are available via interlibrary loan. You can also submit a research request online. Members receive a discount on these services.
Can you help me with my research?
Unfortunately, no. I do not live in Pettis County.
