JAMES E. FARLEY

James E. Farley, 59, 163 Autumn, died early Wednesday morning in Cass County. He was born June 11, 1918, in Ray County, the son of the late John S. and Anna McDonald Farley. Mr. Farley spent most of his life in Sedalia. He was employed in 1941 as a switchman with the Missouri Pacific Railroad and worked in Sedalia for 15 years, and out of Jefferson City for the past few years. He was a World War II veteran and served in China, Burma, and India for two years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, United Transportation Union, V.F.W., and the Sedalia Moose Lodge.

Mr. Farley married Martha D. Buchanan, June 15, 1940, who survives of the home. Also surviving is a son, Michael Paul Farley, of the home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John White, B. A. Fischer, H. C. Sullivan, Raymond Hunt, Leo Dick Jr., and James Robinson.
