MOTHER OF HERMAN GARDNER DIES IN SEDALIA

Mrs. Anna Gardner of Sedalia, mother of Herman Gardner of Cole Camp, passed away at her home in Sedalia, Thursday afternoon, December 14, at 3:40 o'clock. Mrs. Gardner had been in failing health for some time.

Funeral services were held at the Gillespie Funeral home, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Rev. H. H. Heidbreder, pastor of the St. Paul Lutheran church, had charge of the services. Burial was in the Crown Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Gardner was born at Cole Camp, May 12, 1870. She was the widow of the late Fred Gardner, who preceded her in death in 1933.

She leaves to mourn her passing the following children: Mrs. Patrick Jones of Fulton; Mrs. George Gunter, Kansas City, Kansas; J.C. Gardner of El Reno, Oklahoma; Herman Gardner of Cole Camp; Lawrence Gardner of Sedalia, Mrs. Kate Bashore and Arthur Gardner of the family home. Thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive as does one sister, Mrs. Florence Gardner of Sedalia.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
