FRED GARDNER DIES IN SEDALIA

Word has been received here by relatives of the death of Mr. Johann Fredrich Gardner, who passed away at his home in Sedalia at 11:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the age of 75 years. Mr. Gardner was born in the Lake Creek neighborhood, north of Cole Camp, September 18, 1858.

Mr. Gardner was married to Miss Anna Tietjen in September 1888 at Cole Camp, who with the following children survive, C.J. Gardner of Amarillo, Texas, Mrs. Kate Bashore of the home, Mrs. George Guenter of Kansas City, Mrs. T. Jones of Fulton, Arthur, Lawrence, and Herman Gardner, all of Sedalia, and thirteen grandchildren. Two sisters Mrs. Dora Koehler of Sedalia and Mrs. Mary Haase of this city, and also one brother Florence Gardner of Sedalia.

Funeral services were held at the Gillespie Funeral Home in Sedalia at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Reverend Herman H. Heidbreder, pastor of the St. Paul's Lutheran church, officiating. Burial was made in Crown Hill cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Dick Haase, Herman Haase, W.B. Haase, Ernest Koeller, and Ted Gardner.
