SHE DIED FROM HER INJURIES
Mrs. Minta Kellner Succumbs at St. Mary's Tuesday
Mrs. Minta Kellner, a widow, aged 75 years, who made her home with her son, Louis Kellner, six miles northeast of Hughesville, died at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at St. Mary's Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident at Georgetown a week previous.
Mrs. Kellner suffered a fracture of the skull at the base of the brain and after being rushed to the hospital seemed to improve at times, but Tuesday morning her condition became such that Dr. W. J. Ferguson, attending her, realized the end was near.
Mrs. A. E. Mullens, injured in the same accident, is still in a very critical condition, while LeGran Thomas, another injured in the same mishap, is somewhat improved.
Mrs. Kellner was a member of the High Point Methodist Church, and had resided in the vicinity of Hughesville for the past twelve years.
Surviving her are eight children, as follows: Mrs. M. C. Failer, J. H. and A. L. Kellner, of Hughesville; A. F. and S. P. Kellner, of Sweet Springs, and H. G. Kellner, a Missouri Pacific shopman, of Sedalia.
The remains of Mrs. Kellner were taken Wednesday to High Point Church, east of Hughesville, where the funeral was held at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon, the services being conducted by the Rev. Pollock. Interment was held at High Point Cemetery.
The following friends served as pall bearers: Messrs. Walter McClure, Frank Hieronymus, Lee May, Len Durlay, C. W. McAminch, and J. H. Chamberlin.
