CHARLIE F. KOELLER

Charley Fredrich Koeller of this city died at 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, at the Bothwell Hospital of Sedalia, where he had been a patient since March 4. He had attained the age of 92 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Mr. Koeller was born on a farm near Cole Camp on April 19, 1879, a son of the late John and Dora Gardner Koeller. On October 28, 1906, he married Louise Young, who preceded him in death on Dec. 5, 1958. This union was blessed with six children, three sons and three daughters.

He is survived by three sons, Fred Koeller, Florence Koeller and Clarence Koeller, all of Cole Camp; three daughters, Mrs. Don (Dora) Myers, Cole Camp; Mrs. Chris (Nora) Scheerer, Stover; Mrs. Charles (Clara) Skinner, Sedalia; two brothers, Theodore Koeller, Hot Springs, Ark.; Louis Koeller, 820 East 13th, Sedalia; one sister, Mrs. Earnest (Dora) Kohrs, Cole Camp; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

One step-son, Richard Lafayette, three sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Chapel, Cole Camp, with the Rev. Merlin Sjoberg, pastor of the United Ev. Lutheran Church, officiating. Mrs. Nadyne Probling and Mrs. Marie Ryan sang "Whispering Hope" and "Beyond the Sunset" with Miss Opal Harms as accompanist.

A family prayer service was held at the Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers were Fred Steffens, Louis Haase, Rudolph Haase, Lawrence Koeller, Fred Schutte, and Rudolph Kohrs.
