Ernest F. Koeller Dies in St. Louis

Ernest F. Koeller of Sedalia, a brother of Charles Koeller of Cole Camp, passed away at the Missouri Pacific Hospital in St. Louis at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at the age of 64 years. He had been hospitalized for eleven weeks.

Mr. Koeller was born at Cole Camp, September 12, 1891, a son of the late John and Dora Koeller.

On March 26, 1916 he united in marriage with Miss Elsie Lemler. He resided in Sedalia since 1925, where he was employed as a bridge builder with the Missouri Pacific railway. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Sedalia.

Mrs. Koeller preceded him in death on April 4. 1955. He is survived by two sons, Lawrence Koeller and Leonard Koeller, both of Sedalia; two grandchildren; four brothers, Charles Koeller, Cole Camp; Fred Koeller, Sedalia; Louis Koeller, Sedalia; Ted Koeller, Little Rock, Ark.; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Steffens and Mrs. Dora Kohrs, both of Cole Camp.

A brother, John Koeller and a sister, Mrs. Louise Schutte, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Gillespie Funeral Home, Sedalia with the Rev. W.F. Strickert, officating. Mrs. Al Schreiner and Mrs. F.J. Thomas with Mrs. Harold Skidmore as organist, sang, "Abide With Me" and "Rock of Ages."

Ted P. Gardner, Lawrence Gardner, Wm. Haase, Earl Boyd, Fred Steffens and Fred Koeller served as pallbearers.

Interment was made in Crown Hill Cemetery.
