JOHN H. KOELLER Sr.

John Heinrich Koeller, Sr., aged 79 years, 1 month, and 1 day, died at the home of his son, Fred L. Koeller, 2210 East Twelfth street, Sedalia, Thursday morning. Mr. Koeller was born in Germany on November 26, 1849, and in 1868 he came to America, residing near Cole Camp. He made his home in this part of the country the greater part of his life. In 1921 he moved to Sedalia to reside.

On April 20, 1876, he married Dorothy Gardner. This union was blessed with ten children, John, Charley, Mrs. Henry Steffens and Mrs. Henry Kohrs of Cole Camp, Fred J., Ernest, Louis and Theodor of Sedalia. Mrs. Ben Schutte and Emma died several years ago. There are 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who survive.

Funeral services were held at the residence at 2 p.m. and 2:30 at the St. Paul's Lutheran church Friday. Rev. H.H. Heidbreder, pastor of the church officiated. Interment was in the Crown Hill cemetery. [Gate 5 - Sec 11A]

The pall bearers were Pat Johns, Arthur and Ted Gardner, Herbert Young, Ernest and Willie Haase.
