LOUIS G. KOELLER

Louis G. Koeller, 80, 1820 East 13th, Sedalia, died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Missouri Pacific Hospital, St. Louis. He had been ill for several months.

He was born Feb. 21, 1894, at Cole Camp, son of John Henry and Dorthea Gardner Koeller. He grew up and was educated in Cole Camp, moving to Sedalia in 1912. He married Grayce Knoche, Sept. 16, 1923, in Sedalia. She died on March 3, 1962.

He was employed as a railway clerk at the Mo-Pac Shops in Sedalia for 47 years until his retirement in June, 1960.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, American Legion Post No. 16, Covered Bridge VFW Post and the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks.

He is survived by one son, James L. Koeller, Independence; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Gregory, St. Louis; Mrs. Viola Stahl, Hammond, Ind.; Mrs. Katherine Hanna, 820 East 13th, Sedalia; one sister, Mrs. Dora Kohrs, Cole Camp; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday of last week at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Erhard Wolf officiating.

Pallbearers were Fred, Lawrence, Clarence and Florence Koeller, Fred Steffens and Ferdinand Schutte.

Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia.
