Cole Camp Courier DONALD MYERSDonald Myers, 301 W. Butterfield Trail, Cole Camp, Mo. died Friday, April 17, 1981 at the Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, Mo at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 11 days. He was born August 6, 1913, in Fernald, Iowa, son of the late John and Sarah Bovender Myers. On June 5, 1965 he married Dora Buckley, who survives of the home. Mr. Myers was a retired custodian at Iowa State University in Ames, He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cole Camp. Other survivors include two stepsons, John Buckley, 608 North Grand, Sedalia, Mo.; Robert Buckley, Burleson, Tex.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Hopper, 1627 South Barrett, Sedalia, Mo.; seven sisters, Mrs. Mary Stauffer, Mrs. Etta Richardson, both of Marshalltown, Iowa; Mrs. Marie Mesler, Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Gertie Myers, Monroe, Iowa; Mrs. Laura Feldt, Comanche, Iowa; Mrs. Lois Pfeiffer, Auburn, Iowa; three brothers, Lester Myers, Dale Myers, both of Nevada, Iowa; Fred Myers, Maxwell, Iowa; eight step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Cole Camp with the Rev. Dwayne Cartwright officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia. Pallbearers were Terry Hopper, Eric Hopper, Norm Klein, Alvin Koeller, Tom Cook, and Charles LaFayette. The family received friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp.
