Sedalia Democrat ROBERT A. POTTERRobert A. Potter, 87, 1016 East Ninth Street, died at 10 a.m. Saturday. He had been in failing health for the past two years but had not been bedfast. Mr. Potter was born in Pettis County, April 23, 1872, the son of the late Thomas P. and Lucy Matilda Wear Potter. He lived all of his life in Pettis County and Sedalia, coming to Sedalia to reside 58 years ago. Most of his life he had worked as a photographer. Mr. Potter was one of a family of three children. He was married at Boonville, Feb. 25, 1912, to Miss Anna E. Miller. They were the parents of two children. He was a member of the East Sedalia Baptist Church. Mr. Potter is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Potter; one son, Richard Potter, Sedalia; one daughter, Mrs. J. C. Dillard, Three Rivers, Mich.; one brother, James M. Potter, Ft. Worth, Tex; and one granddaughter, Linda D. Dillard, also of Three Rivers. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Mary P. Thomas. Arrangements are incomplete. March 28, 1960: Funeral services for Robert A. Potter, 87, 1016 East Ninth, who died Saturday morning, will be held at the Ewing Funeral Home at 1p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Kenneth Davidson, pastor of the East Sedalia Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be A. J. Harlan, Ira L. Bronson, Norvel Brunkhorst, Martin LaFever, J. R. Thomas, and O. W. Moon.
