Sudden Death

Mr. George M. Harlan, for a long time connected with the Mo Pacific Rail Road as freight conductor, died very suddenly of malignant crystipelar (?) at the residence of Dr. Bronson, at 11 o'clock yesterday morning. His parents, who reside at Lorett, Jennings Co, Ind., have been notified of his death by telegraph, and asked that disposition they wished to be made of the remains.

The railroad men, with their usual liberality, have ordered a handsome casket from Mr. Campbell and a committee will, if required, accompany the remains to his former home.
