Pettis County, Mo., Obituary

Died, January 31st, 1875, Lizzie, daughter of Thomas M. and Vianna Triplet, aged about twelve years.

For more than twelve months, she was prostrated upon a bed of sickness, with a disease which baffled the skill of able physicians. She bore her sufferings with surprising fortitude and patience, until at length death came to her relief. Deeply sympathising relatives and friends followed her body to its last resting place, in Black Water Chapel Cemetery, where her pure spirit, freed from its tenement of clay, doubtless rests in peace.
