Photo owned and submitted by Debra Demeester, who says "This is a photograph of the Seniors at Sedalia HS in 1916. Why they are dressed as they are is a mystery, but they all look like they are having fun. My grandfather added his name "John Porter" (right X) and his friend's name "Harry Smith" (left X). It might be fun to see if any of the Pettis County Webpage viewers can identify any of the other boys in the picture. The photographer's embossed name on the lower right corner says GRANT."
[John and Harry started at the University of Michigan Dental School the following fall. My grandfather graduated from UM in 1920, Harry graduated sometime around then, also.]
